This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notices for this project that appeared in UN Development Business, issues no. 547 of November 30, 2000; no. 576 of February 16, 2002; no. 603 of March 31, 2003; no. 630 of May 16, 2004 and no. 657 of June 30, 2005.
Ukraine has received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Lviv Water and Wastewater Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the contract for purchasing of excavators, autocranes, tipper trucks and repair trucks (Contract No. LP-WS-04C).
The Lviv City Communal Enterprise "Lvivvodokanal" now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following items. The Bidder must quote for all items in each lot and may bid for one or more lots. Bids offering incomplete lots will be rejected:

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Project Implementation Unit at the address below during office hours 1100 to 1700 hours. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of UAH 1300 or US$ 250. The method of payment will by bank transfer to the account of LCCE "Lvivvodokanal". In case of the bank transfer a bidder shall state the purpose of payment as "Purchase of bidding documents for the Contract No. LP-WS-04C". The documents not collected from PIU office will be sent by a courier to an address stated in a written application submitted by a bidder with attached copy of payment order.
