The Russian Federation has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Moscow Urban Transport Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of equipment for the Traffic Management Centre under Moscow City Government (TMC).
The Moscow City Government now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of computer, auxiliary equipment and software for Main Traffic Control, Monitoring and Management Station of the Traffic Management Centre in Moscow (MCS TMC), contract/bid No. MUTP/TMC/G-10.
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, (January 1995 (revised in January and August 1996, September 1997, and January 1999), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address below from 1000 to 1700 hours (Moscow time). A complete set of bidding documents in English with a translation into Russian may be got by interested bidders at the address below on the submission of a written application to the above free of charge.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security for an amount of US$ 10,000 or equivalent in a freely convertible currency or Rub, and be delivered to the address below by 1150 hours on 3 July 2006. They will be opened in the presence of bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 1200 hours (Moscow time) on 3 July 2006. Late bids will be rejected.
