The delivery period is five years.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank's Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, May 2004, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines that meet the following minimum qualification criteria:

(a) Manufacturer's Authorization

(b) Representation of the Bidder in the Purchaser's country during the performance of the Contract

(c) Administrative criteria:

(i) Registration extract

(ii) Up-to-date situation regarding social and tax duties

(d) Financial criteria:

(i) Minimum cash flow amount equivalent of US$ 7,000,000

(ii) Availability of financial resources

(iii) Average annual construction turnover not less than US$ 20,000,000

(e) Technical criteria:

(i) Experience over the past ten years in designing, manufacturing, installing and site testing of existing systems

(ii) Design capabilities, manufacturing capacities, extensive testing facilities, specialist professional engineering staff and site installation specialists

(iii) Project manager and on-site supervisors having a minimum of five years of experience in similar works and 10 years of total experience

These qualification requirements, as well as specific requirements related to subcontractors and joint venture, are detailed in the Bidding Documents.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Open Joint-Stock Company "UkrHydroEnergo" at the address below from 31 August 2006 during office hours (0800 to 1700 hours - local time). A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of US$ 300. The method of payment (only in US dollars) will be direct deposit to any of the specified account numbers:

or by a direct payment to the OJSC UkrHydroEnergo cashier in the equivalent according to the National Bank of Ukraine exchange rate at the day of Bidding Documentation purchase at the address specified below.

The document will be sent by express-mail (i.e. DHL) or by special delivery.

All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 2 per cent of the total bid price and be delivered to the address below by 1100 hours on 26 October 2006. They will be opened immediately thereafter, in the presence of bidders' representatives, who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected.
